Communication Boundaries
we don't do casual friends
this is because more often than not people who use the phrase "casual friends" don't actually wanna be friends, they wanna be acquaintances. the reason we don't accept friendships like this is because we want real connections, people that we can talk to, support, etc, and who expect the same in return, connections that mean a lot to both the friend and the system. we've dealt with fake friends and tried having "casual friendships" but it just bothers us deeply, because they feel pointless. for us we follow this sort of graph for what kind of connection you can expect. if the connection you want is between two, reconsider connecting at all, round down, and/or work on yourself.
Kindred Spirit - multiple platforms, at least 2 - talk at least once a week - this is here because on the off chance someone stumbles upon this site and realises "oh shit, they sound like me, all the Alters do" somehow, and is worried they're gonna come off as too much. trust me, we're a lot, we're not gonna fault you for being too much, just pace yourself and let things connect over a while.
Friends - any platform - typically talk at least once a week - conversations don't have to be long, even just a check in. also time between talking can be like a month if shit happens or they need space or whatever, just communicate that
Pen Pal - email only - talk about once a month - this is just here because yeah.
Acquaintances - email, text, and/or in person only - talk at least once every 3 months - we do not put effort into acquaintances, if you want to be friends and have effort put in, communicate that. this is the closest thing people who want "casual friendship" are permitted to have. ask for our email if you want a casual friendship
be respectful of our system and functional multiplicity
this is here to remind you that referring to us as a system is the right way to go about things, and also respect inter-Alter boundaries and such, you're friends with any number of Alters, not "just one person that's got multiple personalities". it's a fundamental difference in approach and viewpoint that matters to us.
above is a section with our communication boundaries that's collapsible to make life easier if you're not planning to contact us. be sure to read it before contacting us in any way, shape, or form.
that said, this page is where all our social media accounts and such are linked, along with usernames and such that you need to search for/type in manually due to linking issues.
platforms with outlined buttons instead of solid ones are primary and used the most or just have the most up to date information
main communication platform is Signal
secondary platform is Session and/or Email
here's our extraneous social media. there's no point in following. there's also no order. it's a chaotic mess of buttons.
only reason these are linked is so you can do one of two things. you can either:
- find out more about us to be a good person - thank you! /gen
- fulfill your dreams of being a stalker - go ahead, stalk away /j
PS: these are best viewed on PC as some of them have jokes or extra flavour text added in that won't fit on mobile, but the name of the linked platform is visible on all devices (or should be at least, if not then i guess fuck that platform lmfao)
that said, if it's not linked here, it's not ours, it's a dead account, and/or it's private.
Here's our usernames in places where you need to manually search for or add us. first link will always be to a guide to adding friends on that specific platform or a link to the platform's home page. order of most used to least used for each section. first one is primary.
Signal - Nebula_System.69 - yes i got the tag 69. do you like secure apps? do you like messaging friends? cool. get Signal. it's a free & open source end to end encrypted messenger. it's awesome and it's our primary platform. you get a username to share though you need a phone number to sign up.
Session Messenger - 052ad9ee825d545af1d23731ca4ad29e327daf4a34231b14b94c8a65d7e57fa65d - this is a great FOSS messenger that's really it's own thing. it's a very privacy centric and more hardened option to Signal that also doesn't require phone numbers. the servers and network has a decentralised community run blockchain base that uses a local crypto (earned by running a node) to vote on new features and changes, so the community well and truly decides what happens with it. Signal is slightly preferred, but this is a great second choice.
Jami - nebula-system - this is another great FOSS encrypted end to end messenger like Signal, but it doesn't require a phone number to sign up. that said it has less features than Signal and i check it less often so Signal is vastly preferred with second choice being Session.
Simply Plural - Nebula--System this app is for you to see who's fronting, mainly for IRL friends, or people we're close to.
Nintendo Switch - our friend code is SW-0941-0957-4982 tho we don't use this that often, and only for single player stuff because again, subscription.
----------
Email - some of us have an email at this domain that may be listed in the Alter's personal about me or on that Alter's personal site, otherwise, you're not getting one, we rarely use email and if we want a fallback contact method, we'll ask you to talk there or to get your email, or if it's important, you can ask for one.
----------
our Go-To usernames, nicknames, aliases, etc online are:
Nebula System - NSYS - Nebula SYS
you may need to replace spaces with dashes (most used option), underscores (most common fallback option), and/or a number 0 (secondary fallback option), or change capitalisation of those to find us, but these should generally work.
----------
and something for the curious, or those wishing to give a gift, our wishlist
this is our Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok, all of which we use to make content. the YouTube and Twitch ones will only have our voice or even less in some places, and the TikTok has some more real life content. We don't have much but you might like some of it. Enjoy if you check it out. The point of these channels is to play games and promote understanding, and the TikTok is more to get to know us, while also promoting understanding.
note: we run our Twitch and YouTube accounts under an alias which you can see there so that this site is "air gapped", and our personal life will stay separate
if you found this site anyways from these platforms: do not contact us (unless contacted first or on that platform), that's our boundary for those platforms. If you do anyways, we will block you.
this is my random stuff site where i just post random stuff that doesn't really fit here, like stuff for promoting friends, random cool words i find or invent, some recommended software for Linux, and other things. it is also where i keep a masterlist of all sites that are published at different prefixes of this URL that aren't worth mentioning in this section here, as a sort of site map. the rest of this section here is for projects that are big, or deserve mentioning here.
this is my playground site which serves as a work portfolio and a nice showcase of my abilities, specialties, etc, and shows off some of my better works and explains some of my projects, and it's also just generally a place for me to fuck around
this is a personal side project for me to do a ton of disorder research into mental disorders, and have that information displayed, with links to official sources to promote understanding, ease of access, and kindness and fair treatment, among other things. you can also help contribute if you want, send us an email at the address listed there. the project is kinda dead as of right now due to lack of interest and the fact it spawned out of my grievances with the "health" industries in america.
here's random shit and useful resources that i (Aleena mainly) like using, basically just shit you might like because i like it, or another Alter if they find anything that they like themselves.
no particular order, i just add new stuff to the bottom as i add on to this section though some of my favourites do get spots closer to the top
this is our friend's site. they're super similar to us, disturbingly similar actually (hence us getting along really well). also yes i know our sites look similar, i helped per make pers.
this is a list of suicide, self harm, and general emergency helplines for anyone to use. go to the page and scroll to your country's listings, and contact them if you need help, please.
this is a nice little music purchasing site. We recommend Halsey, or Hayley Kiyoko bc their music is gay. also Bad Omens and Neoni bc their music is awesome as well
this is the American Civil Liberties Union, or ACLU, they're trying to protect trans people in america, people of colour, and stand up for people's rights. donate, share, do anything you can to help if you're willing, and i recommend checking their anti-trans law tracker to keep updated. stay safe.
this is Bionic Reading. it's a cool project to convert text to have bold faced beginnings of letters to make things WAY easier to read and much faster. it's especially helpful for neurodivergent people like myself, so enjoy!
this is the ICD-11, a great diagnostic manual for not only mental disorders, but damn near everything, something i will use as a core part of my Disorder Research websites. it's very worth a read
this is a little guide to Tone Indicators, which, as you may have guessed indicate tone (super self explanatory i know lol). i've used a few on our site in some places as well. the Understanding page has another, more full list of tone tags as well
this is Project Naptha, a cool little extension thingy that lets you highlight text in images. it's very basic and has very limited functionality, but it's still super cool. definitely worth it to add to your browser for the occasional time you need to copy text from an image
this is NormCap, a cool little screen text recognition thing like project Naptha, but for the entire screen, and works like screenshot from selection functions. really useful and handy, especially when paired with opening the camera app, giving you a clean and rather simple means of getting text from the real world right into your clipboard, such as a note, a redeem code, credit card number, etc.
this is another site like Pixabay, but it's a little more broad with a bit cleaner web design, i also use some of their images on my sites
this site is a nice site that i use for a lot of the images on my websites. there's some amazing artists on here listing their stuff for free, and i've linked almost all creators for the images i've used.
this is MNT Research and Framework, two companies that have similar philosophies in terms of open source, upgradeable hardware. MNT makes everything down to the hardware CAD sources open source, and uses only hardware you can easily buy to replace and fix the device yourself, with the target market of modders and hardware hackers. on the other hand, Framework is just really good at recycling and making things upgradeable including through their expansion modules which are USB-C based. both companies are worth a look if you're in the market for a new laptop and want something upgradeable that will last. Framework also offers their old motherboards for sale, just the motherboard, with the express purpose of letting users recycle and repurpose them if you're interested in trying to make something custom with minimal fuss, and lots of power and options for upgrades.
this is the Library Of Babel, just a cool site that shows every combination of letters and words and such, it's kind of crazy because by technicality, the cure to cancer, the answer to the meaning of life, and the answers to all sorts of other complex and existential questions is already written.
this is a cool short film made by AI, the first, i highly recommend you watch it.
Azeal On Youtube's coverage of Conversion Therapy - if you read this far and it's not going to be a trigger, I formally challenge you to watch this video, start to finish, and not cry, pause it, or look away in response to what's being shared. if you make it through but fail the challenge, let me know.
i also implore you to check out Azeal's Youtube Channel, as they cover all sorts of issues and topics like this with extremely interesting people, and is a wonderful content creator.
lastly, if you're wondering why we have crypto things on our site, here's our take on the tech. it can be summed up into a single sentence though: blockchain tech is cool and enables some great features most centralised currencies don't
